Our research group focuses on the scientific field of mental health epidemiology, which involves the analysis of large-scale data to understand patterns, causes, and effects of mental health disorders. We utilize advanced statistical methods and epidemiological techniques to uncover insights that can inform public health policies and improve mental health care.
Prospective Group Members
We encourage those who wish to join our group in Barcelona or Aarhus to pursue courses that provide them with a strong background in, e.g., epidemiology, biostatistics, data science, medicine, public health, demography, sociology, and/or psychology. A solid foundation in these areas will be beneficial for contributing to our research projects.

How to Join the Group
Positions funded through external grants at the PhD and postdoctoral level will be advertised (when available) through the webpages of Aarhus University and/or ISGlobal. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we can only accommodate a limited number of students.
Those interested in applying for funding to join our group, or interested in an internship at the bachelor and master level are encouraged to submit a two-page letter of interest in English, along with a CV to opr@ph.au.dk. We recommend having a strong academic background in relevant fields, and demonstrating a sincere interest and professionalism in your application.
